Payment not being shown as made

I have a buyer who states he has paid for an item but we haven't received notification and the listing is still active.

Can only see 1 sale, bull bar  on 24th August.

Have you signed up to Managed Payments?

How does the buyer claim they paid and when?

Have you asked eBay about the sale ?

It stands to reason - the item is still active - therefore not sold - let alone paid for.

Absolutely most likely a scammer buyer trying one on over a new seller

Then again, it IS ebay, where  stranger things have happened

...maybe school holidays & a kid is 'pulling your chain'....ignore or put on your Blocked Buyer's List....
