I've had no problems with eBay before this, I think it's a fantastic platform.
Currently, I have two selling accounts and everything is fine with those, however I opened up a third one recently. Sold my first item but eBay is not accepting my ID, after numerous attempts and extremely clear photos of it. It gets rejected almost instantaneously. I've also sent my Medicare card in the same photo, still no go.
I don't drive, so just have a Proof of Age card, which has been fine in both current selling accounts, just not this one.
Impossible to contact eBay, which is one of the rare complaints that I do have. This is a hefty payout, so I need it sorted ASAP. Deadline is October 17th.
Thank you for any help!

Same issue here. They refuse to accept my South African ID Book. I sent clear copies of the back and front, I had the copies certified by a commissioner of authority with a stamp. Then i went to the Police and got a stamped police affidavit stating that my ID is valid and our IDs does not ever expire. I have photos of me holding it and my original birth certificate but still it is rejected and my payments are on hold even though I've already sent the buyers the products. Ridiculous.

You were required to sign up and be verified to sell before you sold anything
And were/are required to provide accepted ID
And you should send the items the buyer has paid for
Not sure what is ridiculous about you having to abide by the same rules as every other seller
And your feedback score will further hinder you
