Payment on hold

Hi. I’ve sold an item and eBay put the payment on hold. I’ve tried the automated service but it say first- need to verify my bank. I click on verify and it says nothing needs to be verified.
It then says second - payment after delivery.
Well I out the tracking number in when I sold it and it has been delivered but the tracking thru eBay doesn’t work. I selected courier TNT Australia but when you try and track thru eBay it defaults to TNT not TNT Australia so the tracking does t work but it give you a link to click on to take you to the Australian tracking site and when you do it shows item as delivered.
so then the automated service says contact agent. I click on that and it says error try later or contact agent.
This has been going on for 12 hours now.

How can I get my money? How can I contact eBay to get my money as the help section only leads to the automated service?

Thanks

Re: Payment on hold

Have you fully completed all steps for Managed Payments and been verified to sell?

If not, they could explain the message you get

Plus the item only sold a week ago so even if you have done as required, your funds are still going to be on hold for another 3 weeks, as you agreed to when you listed

Very doubtful that without valid tracking as far as eBay are concerned and that the buyer has not left feedback that you would get your funds early

I haven’t sold on eBay for a few years and when I did I never had funds held before. I only found out about the hold when I went to use what they paid to cover the postage costs.
I will have to wait the 3 weeks then for payment.

Re: Payment on hold

Are you saying you have indeed signed up to Managed Payments and been verified to sell?

Had you read what you ticked you had read and agreed to, you would have been aware up front that there are holds for every new seller and every seller who has not sold in some time

Managed Payments has been the only option for sellers for almost 6 years

If you have not yet fully signed up, you will not be paid at all until you do so
