Hi All,
I've just experienced my first lost international parcel as a seller.
My customer wants a refund. I have documentation for lodgement but no signature or tracking is available.
Should I go through the agonies of a paypal claim ? Should I just suck it up and refund from my own pocket and learn the lesson of only tracking and signature parcels? It's about $60.
What's your best advice on handling this one?
Thanks in advance
Fiona

Post and missing parcels are always that little more tricky when sent internationally, so tracking and / or signature on delivery are wise as you have discovered - but I think thats just how many of us learn the ropes.
Its a bit difficult to make any further comment without a few more details - most important which country was the parcel sent to ? and what date did you post it ?

Thanksso much for your advice. It's always good to hear from others and about theirexperiences.
I decided to launch an investigation via Aus Post and forward my customer the details. Took ages but I thought it was worth a try. Parcel went to USA. Must remember to use Pack&Track, not old fossil international registered.
Interesingtly as soon as I did this I received a reply saying the parcel had been delivered a few days prior. Grrrrrrrr, but good outcome at least.
Regards,
Fi
