thanks lane_ends...I am really more of a buyer than a seller but I have been enjoying selling off my groaning shoe closet...I have incredible respect for such experienced sellers like yourself, wow, you must have seen it all!

I have had, presumably, the same watchers on items for over 6 months. I rarely sell items that have multiple watchers. They seem to be either tyrekickers or competitors.
If it makes you feel better, ignore them or, better yet, change your selling page so they don't show.
i would not court buttonpushers; some people might push the wrong buttons.

I actually get worried when there's no watches!
The watches might not always buy, but at least your listing is getting some kind of notice from someone. Even if it is a competitor :^O

recently i had just one or two watchers on every item of my 100 free listings recently, turns out about 30% of them were buyers.. waited untill the end of the actions to bid instead of paying extra for "BIN" Only a very small %age used the BIN option, one is currently in an unpaid item dispute.
I wonder who those other watchers were.. a boardie perhaps or a competitor?

How can anyone complain about watchers ? They are far more harmless than non payers.
