Poor trading practices lead to poor comunity safety

Dear Ebay,
I have noticed that there are many sellers on ebay selling alcohol on ebay. Seems to be the go is to write down a fake liquor license number on their listing and it will make the sale. This seems to be quite a common practice as I can point out many cases already.
What I suggest to Ebay is that any sale of alcohol on this website should cease because Ebay is clearly not checking valid liquor license numbers. I also will report these activities to the appropriate Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation in all states and I will have them investigate the activities that are allowed to take place on Ebay.
Enough is enough of these slopy practices .......

i mean, we all know that the so called customer service is a joke.

we all know that ebay gives a rats bum if there are fakes sold etc.

they want maximum profits while providing minimum service. and that is what they are doing.

the problem you describe does NOT surprise me or anyone else who has spend some time on the boards.

tell us, what do you want us to do? write petitions to our local MP to close ebay down?

tell me, i am puzzled. i can't understand what it is you want us to do?

anyone who sells alcohol on ebay should have a license and prior to listing an item such as alcohol should pass a certain  24hr verification period to ensure that everything is above board:-)
