Postage correction letter

Has anyone else received an email from ebay today advising of a technical  error regarding postage  charges not correctly  being deducted  from their accounts ?

Re: Postage correction letter

I noticed a while back that I was not getting charged for labels.  Decided to stop selling until it got sorted out. although I have not thoroughly checked, the amount I owe is in the ballpark of what I think I owe.  We will all be able to check after the amount is paid, as they are going to give details of which sales it refers to.  So calm down everyone, after all, mistakes do happen, and nobody or no system is perfect.

Re: Postage correction letter

Never in all my years selling have I used eBay labels.

Too easy to just visit AP - over the counter - receipt - tracking - not a problem.

Re: Postage correction letter

The eBay labels are also costlier.

If I were selling, it would be a marshmallow’s chance in a bonfire that I’d not be using AP MyPost Business.

I just checked this morning and the charges haven't billed yet. Can someone please advise when they are billed so I can check again?

Have they not told you in an email?

Thursday 5 December in AU now - still no charge from eBay. I have never used eBay labels, only AU Post which has never let me down.

Will revert when eBay charge for AU Post labels, so called not charged - which I am sure eBay will !! 🥴.
Then check eBay’s “story” - looking forward to it !

Re: Postage correction letter

I got a bill last month and just got another one for $71 but there is no money in my bank account till 18th. Why the devil do they have to do this just before Christmas, not all us sellers sell on here for a living but for a little extra money. And it is too hard to work out which ones they are charging you for, how do I know that they are not double dipping. As far as I was aware I was being charged as money kept going out of what was in my EBay account. Needless to say, I will not be using EBay for my postage labels anymore. It was quick and convenient but not worth the headache of them just deciding that they haven’t taken payment yet for postage and do it all in a lump sum when you least expect it. It’s their mistake, they should wear it

Re: Postage correction letter

I even went into the desktop site so I could check my history and accounts, it’s just way too confusing as they just take payments from what’s in your account so can’t marry it up with which item they are taking it for, but there is postage charges there but hard to work out. I gave up last night. What can I do about it, they have us over a barrel and can do what they please

Exactly what I said to the eBay rep when I spoke to him on the phone.
