I had a similar one this week - customer in Perth demanded to know where her item was after 3 days (Im in ADL), and stated that she really had expected to receive it the day after she purchased.

I pointed out that it takes at least 4 days to drive from ADL to Perth and she backed down and apologised.

I agree, Flotsam, some people just don't think.

I've had that happen a few times, where people in Perth get cranky when their package from Canberra doesn't show up within a couple of days.

They don't seem to comprehend that they live in the most isolated capital city on Earth

they aren't really adding an extra day, they are just stating the bleeding obvious.... they are NOT delivering within stated time frames, so they are going to stop telling lies and give us the truth for a change!!

the problem is now its acceptable to take an extra day, that will become the norm, and then you'll start getting it taking an extra day on top of that once they slacken off again!
