Okay, the original post was reported as spam, I guess there are no english speaking/reading people working for eBay in Oz either.

I suppose chat even shuts down after... 4PM CST, which would be roughly one day, eight hours behind You Ozzies

We do have English speakers/ readers here in Oz. If you need to contact eBay Australia then use chat between 9am and 5 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time. Please keep in mind that each international eBay site has different regulations so the advice you receive from Australian staff may not be applicable in America.

I also hope you realise that the people on these forums are not eBay staff any more than you are.

If you believe a listing is fraudulent then there is a "report this listing" link on every listing. Fraud is a big claim and would require some evidence.

At least he pronounced it correctly, most Yanks say "awe-sees".

What is "tha interweb"?

Try contacting during the ebay hours, not what you think should be your hours. Never had a problem here contacting them during business hours.

Re: Problems with ebay

No place on earth can be more than 24 hours behind any other. It is a function of how the spherical earth rotates and the time in which it manages a rotation - 24 hours.

US CST is UTC -6, Eastern Australia is UTC +10. Which means you are 16 hours behind civilization. Which means 4PM your time is 8AM tomorrow here. Australian chat, not that it is worth anything to you, should be starting up then, not shutting down.
