Is anyone else experiencing ridiculously slow sales?
I've been selling here for over 5 years, an average of 10 items per day, every day of the week. Then suddenly on Saturday, my sales just stopped. Ebay can't give me an explanation for it, I've changed nothing in my listings or my settings.
My products are still selling as normal on my other online sites, and my other ebay accounts are also selling as normal.
Any ideas what could be going on? It's costing me a fortune! X-(

No one is being nasty Tracey-people have tried to give you some suggestions & you've insulted us in return.
If you want to keep doing things the way you do that's your choice & no one can stop you & nor can anyone help you if you are determined to take offence at every post that is simply aimed at helping you.
There are no hugs & kisses here-its an internet forum for buyers & sellers to ask questions,be given assistance or answers. Its not a warm & fuzzy FB page sorry.

Oh & Tracey, you could make a lot of improvements to your listings if you wanted to.
Happy to help if you can step back & take a deep breath.

According to eBay, private feedback is designed for reputable buyers and sellers that have received an unfair or defamatory feedback comment. The trader can then choose to make the feedback private whilst eBay decides if they should remove the feedback comment or not. Whilst the feedback is private you can't see any of the feedback comments left for the eBay member, you can however view how many positives, neutrals and negatives the member has received.
The above reason for making feedback private seems reasonable enough, however how do you know the eBay member isn't making their feedback private for more sinister reasons?
The answer! You Don't!
A lot of members with private feedback may be trying to hide more than the odd bad comment, they may be hiding hundreds or maybe even thousands! These comments could be warning you about eBay scams or a very bad ebayer, without being able to see the feedback comments the only thing you have to go on are the feedback scores for the member.
No matter how good the feedback scores look, if an eBay member has private feedback then it should instantly ring an alarm bell in your head. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from an eBay member with a private feedback profile. If you are desperate for the item that the member is selling my advice would be to contact the seller before you purchase the item.

thanks for your help but iam not going to do auctions as they just go for 99 cents , i have done free postage , iam not going to give things away .
actually the way things are no one is buying , we have a few companys outside ebay of a diff nature and we just dont get the work we used to after being in the game 20 years as pty ltd , so its my understanding that people are struggling and wont spend money on things that are not essential , that includes ebay , and even retial stores are doing it hard , sign of the times thanks to labour gov

Tracey, that is reading like someone's personal opinion on an internet forum & bares little to any resemblence with ebay policy.
If you don't want any help tonight, then all the best with your sales.

Giving things away would be actually cheaper than what you are doing now.
Which is paying to not sell anything.
I was honestly trying to help, I read back and can't even see how my comments could be read as mean? They were ebay truths, like it or not.
I know how it is to be emotionally tied to your business. Maybe you need to step back and leave the forums for the night rather than getting upset. There are potential buyers on these boards as well as sellers giving advice. That's my last comment! Have a good night.
