hello eBay community,
i have sold two computer central proccesors(CPU) to a user, after 2 weeks he responds i just received first cpu today i didnt get second when really the item would have arrived 3 to 4 working days why two weeks anyway i had faith that he would not screw me arround and send it via Large letter envelope padded now these dont have tracking how ever i have a receipt and possibly video from the store me walking in to send it! is there anything i can do about this?
he openned paypal case and i sent whatever proof i have of this to them theyre still deciding how ever he left me 2 negative feedbacks although he even received first one 100% and second one he also received 100% because i have his gumtree listings and same day he claims that he didnt receive he happened to put that CPU in a pc to sell
please help and guide further actions i can take

There is not a lot you can do through Paypal if you chose not to register the large letter, it would have been three bucks well spent.
If you are sure it is the same item you sent that is being sold on Gumtree you could try telling them that if they don't pay up pdq you will be going to the police but unless you have a seriel number or someother exclusive identifier it would be impossible to prove.
If your receipt has the buyer's postcode on it then you may be able to convince Paypal but I very much doubt it.

Did you have a tracking number for your first parcel to the buyer?

I've been under the impression Ebay own Gumtree as well as Paypal why can they not get there act together and cross check databases. And if something crops up red flag it to be checked out. Cencerlink can do it so why can Ebay not. or Paypal or Gumtree.
These 3 companies I beleive are owned by Manhattan Bank I am not 100% sure if it true but if they do....... Money is not a Problem...

Hi there and Merry Christmas,
Sorry to hear your problems especially at this time of year. I just looked at your feedback and it looks 'terrible' because these 2 negatives have pulled it down to 90.5%. Here is some advice to bring it up:
1 - Buy stuff, any stuff. Sellers can only give positive feedback so your 90.5% can only improve. 20 additional positive feedbacks will bring it to 95.1% . 100 additional positive feedbacks will bring it to 98.3%. What to buy? Try advancd Search on Buy it Now, Items under $1.00, Free Postage, Located in Australia, Sort by Cheapest First. Set Category to Crafts (88 Items), Stamps (2000+ items). So 100 positive feedbacks will cost you $100 or so and take a couple of hours to process.
2 - Give positive feedback. When you are finished buying, give positive feedback immediately. You don't have to wait for the goods. This will encourage sellers to give you positive feedback quickly. Thees positive feedback will push the negatives and neutrals down to page 4 or 5, out of sight, out of mind.
3 - Use Registered Post for all items. Paypal love it, Your customers must sign to get the goods. Avoids so much trouble.
Best wishes and happy buying

You can only use registered post for letters, there is no longer any registered post for parcels, you have to add signature on delivery or extra cover for parcels.
As both your sales were for more than $50 I cannot understand why you didn't pay the extra $3 for registration.

Hello all and merry xmas to all and happy new year in couple of days.
the paypal case is still under review by them i guess after holidays it will be finalised, regarding the case with paypal i have submitted so much information, the receipt of the post i sent ,screenshots of item on sale on gumtree and tomoorow i will be adding a police report depending what my local area command recommends. it was a silly mistake not to get tracking and a hefty 60 odd dolars i could of spent on more snacks and gifts 😞 i will also report this user to microsoft for selling pc's without an license sticker and further report to centrelink etc.. for review as he maybe running cash job from home!
anyway hope you all have a great holiday and stay safe

That's a lot of retaliation towards the buyer and what if it really has not arrived ?
Do you really want to take all those actions when had you posted according to PayPal requirements there would be little to follow up as you'd have proof of postage ?
