... since Im not sure Ebay is bright enough to put two and two together.
And all the post offices within 1 1/2 hours of me (Im in the country) were also closed on all weekends and the 31st - I drove to them to check today. I guess Ill have to prove that too.

Wrong side of the bed yesterday morning. ๐
To reply to their comment, I don't always know when my PO's closed days are (apart from the obvious Xmas, Boxing Day, NYD) because mine is often open when others aren't. Therefore, that screenshot will be very handy in the event we get pinged for late postage.

to all sellers simple answere you all know this time of the year there are public holidays for about a week , just adjust your handling time for a week.or so.
sellers are complaining about business days and weekends , aus post and courier sites still work on weekends , they are on the road delivering parcels interstate they are flying to states planes from overseas still bring parcels. if a truck going from melbourne to perth does not stop at 5pm friday and waits on the road until 9am monday to drive to perth ,
its not just post office opening or postmen delivering thats involved in a [delivery] even red boxes get emptied on weekends .all part of a delivery. traveling is part of the delivery .
i send a pallet of goods not ebay every 3 weeks on a friday in fact i drop it off thursday and the truck leaves friday 1pm , it goes all the way with some stops i asume s/a .

What you have said is correct, but the screen shot is really referencing the final step in the delivery.
So when it states "no deliveries" on a particular day, that is relevant to sellers who might encounter difficult buyers, particularly as there were only 2 delivery days out of 10, between 25 Dec-3 Jan.

Yep we had a buyer who orderd an item by express on Mon 28th, she sent a message to say she needs to use it on Sat 2nd Jan.
We checked her postcode and both she and us were inside the next business day network. So we thought should have been no worries.
Took the item down to our local PO (corporate office) on Tuesday 29th. Asked them to check the postcodes and delivery.
They said there were no known express delivery problems so delivery should be tomorrow (30th) in Sydney suburbs.
Come 4pm on 30th the tracking showed still in transit.
So I went back to my local PO and they seemed surprised as all it had to do was go from Brisbane to Sydney.
So now we have an unhappy customer who will not get her item until Mon 4th, too late for her special event.
So she wants a refund of the extra express post cost now. Which we will give of course.
Then we will try to get a refund from AP. Might need to involve the Ombudsman on this one methinks.
You would think people who had a tight schedule would place an order a bit sooner, especially this time of year.

Actually I use IE, Firefox, Chrome, Midori, Konqueror as well as TOR usually all at the same time, for different reasons. You can see the tops of Chrome and Firefox on the start bar at the bottom on the screen shot on this partition. I program, and develop websites, and there are specifications in IE that simply dont exist in the others, plus IE 10/11 are less susceptible to viruses than Chrome / Firefox, among a hundred other things.
Chrome and Firefox are great for people who only know about IEs instability and compatibility issues and not much else. Most people who are heavily into computers will have all three, as a minimum.

Wow .... Is that what that comment was about .... Lol internet explorer .......... ?
Was that comment attempting to making "fun of" using a particular search engine?
I'm learning so much here ......

I was warned off all those search engines - after market jobs all
Now using Edge - came with Win10 - already installed
Gotta say - don't mind it

Calling Internet Explorer a "search engine".
LoL

LOL indeed.
I wouldn't use IE, but it probably auto-searches with bung Bing, as Chrome does with Google, so it's not that big a stretch.
Besides I doubt anybody was in doubt about what was meant.

Clarry I don't think you will have any luck. Even in the screenshot above it says, Posting and express post item? the next guaranteed delivery was 4th Jan if posted on the 29th, seems to me they are covered.
