but this seller, was it an emailed voucher? Did they ever send you a physical vopucher in the mail by registered post?
eBay prohibits the listing oif digitally delivered goods (I think) and there is no PayPal buyer protection on them.

The purchase is for a service - an accomodation service.
How a "voucher" is delivered for the actual service being purchased is neither here nor there - nor against any eBay policy.
The service being sold is the provision of a "physical" accomodation service - not digitially delivered goods.

in this instance, without the voucher, you cannot redeem the accommodation.
The seller appears to be the service provider,
The sale is for the voucher to redeem the accommodation
Regardless, I'm pretty sure that none of the safe payment methods provide you with protection against a service either.

Thank you for that information that great never had a problem with emailed vouchers in the past 🙂
unfortunately, it is against eBay policy to sell digitally delivered goods OR services and their line about feedback up the top whilst doing nothing to assist the buyer from the feedback angle, provides sufficient indication to eBay that this is a digitally delivered good
so just a heads up here, take your holiday very quickly.
For Starters, they in no way comply with this policy
They pass on your information and use it for purposes other than the intended sale which they cannot do, even with your consent through the opt out option rather thasn the opt in option
They do not offer a safe method of payment
and on it goes.
I'm sure their 4ooo word listing will be valued somewhere, but apparently, unless they restrict themselves to one such listing PER MONTH, it is not to be valued on eBay
