Sent expensive item to Mexico and its MISSING Advice please

Hi,

I sold a very expensive watch to a person in Mexico and sent it on 10/07/2017.

They paid via pay pal which I thought would cover both of us but apparently not!

I have a tracking number/with signature.

It missing as it stands on 11/07/2017.

I have contacted Australia post and they have tracked it scaned at Mexico city and then nothing with them opening a ticket with the Mexico post with no reply as yet.

the Bottom line is as follows.

I have been advised by Pay Pal that if it is not delivered to the address they will refund the buyer and debit my pay pal account basicly to bad so sad.

Can anyone give me some advise/help in how to go with this.

I suggest you take a deep breath and wait at least another week  as you have allowed two days for delivery to mexico ,I struggle to send a letter to the next town in two days. When I send to the u.s it can take 10 daysor more to deliver. If your buyer opens a case for non delivery you are welcome to come back here and I am sure the very knowledgable people here will point you in the right direction.

Australia post has ask Mexico post for a please explain (basicly) and have had no response as yet

Buyer has emailed me yesterday asking to how for a refund.

Geez I hope it turns up but an expensive watch like that and to Mexico,IMO you will be scammed.

Yeah, chances are it's been stolen by someone somewhere along the way.

I hope I'm wrong, and I hope it turns up. Sorry that this happened to you.

Was the package insured?

How much did you charge them in Paypal fee's which is against policy......

Pay pal fees added to final invoice.

Sending a $3,500 TAG without insurance ?

Not a smart move, especially to a country like Mexico.

Normally PayPal only reqiure proof of postage but due to the amount may be the reason you have been given such news from Paypal.

I sincerely hope it arrives.
