Can't name and shame, mores the pity - check out the latest red dot I received, check out their feedback left for others - nasty nasty NASTY person

makes me wonder why I bother sitting here at 1.30 am packing seeds for people like her - very disheartening

You think? This member has literally scores of revised feedbacks which indicate to me that they are either falsely claiming INR and getting another free item, or have been refunded when they shouldn't have been. I get very suspicious when I see the term "understanding" used in feedback so frequently. Looks like a serial scammer to me.

Ummmm.   What would mine be, then?  I could use a laugh

Yours is very difficult, stawka. Did you know I have a fire-ant problem here?

I might ask someone to arrange work killing ants. Smiley LOL

That's pretty clever.     I get on special lists just for my ID.  Not my fb comments

I have never given a neg and only 1 neutral.

The neutral because I got 4 crystal serviette rings tossed into a satchel

with no wrapping.  Strangely they were undamaged.  Go figure!

well I should tell you that putney is a suburb of London,England, which used to have 32 as its postcode back in about 1900, and as that's where my Vic was born, that is why I chose that as my ID.  just putney was alrady taken so I had to add a number after it.

Don't even need the Queensland reference.  I reckon tech and Navy would do it. Smiley LOL

I joined a collectors forum a few years ago that I soon discovered had members I'd bought items from on eBay.  As a new member I began reading old posts to familiarise myself with how the forum ran.....and came across an entry re a scarce item a member had listed on eBay.  The item sold for a good price (it was something that didn't come up very often) and members of the forum congratulated the seller on the winning amount.  It was all quite weird following its progress....because I was the buyer. Smiley Very Happy  Fortunately I was as happy with the price I paid, as the seller was!

Looks like I started something here. It wasn't my idea originally, & I hope none of you good people ever get slapped for it.

I stuffed mine up anyway. What I should have said was that I lived at Yeppoon on the CQ coast etc. If you were naming & shaming me, I don't see how tech and Navy would be very obvious, except to those who knew what my avatar looked like, and in the vast majority of cases, the people who are named in these forums aren't normally contributors so the entire user ID needs to be spelled out somehow. I still believe the best method is to use the offending party's user ID in a reply to their feedback, then simply direct the other forum members to it.

Yes, using text in the same colour as the background would work, although it wasn't all that long ago that the eBay forums had alternating background colours - one white, the next grey, and so on. If you'd tried it there and somebody had an earlier post removed by the mods, you'd be well and truly caught out when the background changed. Smiley LOL
