Should I be charged an insertion fee? The item was removed before any bids due to ownership dispute

Does ebay charge an insertion fee even when the item has been withdrawn after a short period and there were no bids?.

Reason for removal there was a family dispute on ownership. This will mean once the ownership is settled and the item is offered again I will be charged a further insertion fee for the same item.

If it is in a category that charges a fee outside of any free listings you get then yes.

And you are charged for each insertion regardless of having bids or not.

Just to add to Kopes' post - you get 40 free listings a month.

So if you haven't used them, then there's no insertion fee.
