Smiley Face

Hi, not sure what to do here.

We receive a neutral comment with a smiley face 🙂

No contact from buyer and we cannot contact them?

Only clue is they have been doing a lot of this to other sellers on ebay.

Ebay as usual just send an automated responce claiming it does not qualify for removal.

Re: Smiley Face

At a guess I would say your buyer has been leaving feedback on one of those "smart" phones or simply doesn't understand the feedback system.

It's pointless emailing ebay, you need to phone them and ask them to have a look at the buyer's record of leaving feedback for others; it may help, but don't hold your breath.:|

Re: Smiley Face

A neutral doesn't affect your rating so wouldn't worry too much.

It's possible they posted it with an iphone as there are some problems with posting feedback using iphones.

Going by the number of sales you are doing, I would just move on. 🙂

Re: Smiley Face

alex that buyer leaves lots and lots of neutrals, some with good, some with not so good comments.  my guess is he uses an iphone and doesnt pay attention to what he's doing...

Re: Smiley Face

Could've been worse-you may have ended up with one of their illiterate comments.

Re: Smiley Face

Thanks motherbear2003 it seems calling them is the only way.

Messaging them just seems to get caught up in automated replies.

kopenhagen5 it may not affect our rating, but does it affect our future potential customers?

Emailing them is about as useful as talking to dead help:|

I would say, probably not.

Firstly it's not a negative remark and neutrals are hard to spot on the page assuming that most buyers would look which they don't.

Secondly, it won't take long for it to end up on page two.

If you have already asked to assist in making their purchase more satisfactory, I would focus energies where it may matters.

Your record is impecable and buyers will see that first. 🙂
