So I sold and iPad bundle, listed as used, 6 months old, had clear photos of complete screen and the add mentions that there is a screen protector on the iPad and a spare sent.
Buyer now wants to return due to scratches on screen & uploaded photos that I can’t see anything on of what looks like the corner of something with a screen on it, but I can’t even be sure that the photos are of the iPad I sent.
The original listing showed clear photos of complete screen showing everything as it was, I believe photos on listing form part of the description, so not sure how to proceed as I don’t really think it should be returned.
does anyone know if ebay would support my side if I contact them?
Has anyone gone through similar?

If possible, open the parcel you get back at the post office or in front of the contractor...

Good suggestion Paper - but then - how to prove this was done. ??
Not sure the PO person - nor the Contractor - would be willing to sign anything.

It probably depends on how well you know them.
A couple of years ago I had bought something fragile from the USA (GSP), and because of COVID there were delays which increased my anxiety... There was a nice contractor at the time although he seems to have disappeared now. He often asked how I was etc., so when the parcel arrived I asked him if he could wait while I opened it, and he said no worries, if the item is broken he will confirm. But he was a really nice guy, almost from another time (you know, when those who delivered the mail cared, had a chat, etc.) Some hardly say anything when they deliver these days, so it would be difficult with them and I would probably not even want to ask...

Why express?
There should be an option within the case to provide a return postage label. Tick the relevant boxes.

There is also the fact - the item is in excess of $700 - so yes - extra cover - just to cover one's butt - is sensible.
Lost - $100 - gone missing $100.
Express - to get it over & done with.
What am I missing.

Chucking money away? Return postage is already lost money, why pay more than necessary?
AP still don't guarantee express.
