Its completely unfair that as a seller, we cannot turn off the mandatory "send to the authenticator" thing that eBay now enforces! I never sell fakes, my customers know this. If it was fake, PayPal would cover them and make me give the refund. Now there is a ridiculous process we have to follow that takes up precious postage time. Especially when a customer wants me to send express post directly to them. It also poses possible problems that could occur with double handling. And should I even trust this authenticator in Lidcombe? Ebay this is absolutely ridiculous.

Not aware of a NEW authentication process, one has been in place for years and is no secret
But if you don’t want to follow policy, don’t list brands that require it
You will need to contact eBay with your feedback

It is a security measure that protects you as much as the buyer, I would be suspicious of any seller wishing to avoid verification.
Mandatory = No you can not turn it off.

Indeed
Strang the OP does not trust the process they are required to go through but trusts a buyer who wants them to bypass the process required and send express post directly to them instead
Said buyer would be put on my blocked list stat
