Sorry all for another stupid question  (I shall be famous for them soon)

Just wondering why I am still 'above standard' rather than top rated? (no defects at all either)  .....like I say...sorry for the stupid questionScreenshot (133) 1.jpg

Anyone, What are the benefits of being a Powerseller?

I know you lose the free listings every month.

As a seller, I see no benefits at all of being either a TRS or a Powerseller. It used to display to buyers when you were a Powerseller, but as far as I know, it doesn't any more. I don't care about Best Match because I run auctions.

I still get free listings every month and also get the 3 free relists. When I had a stint at selling a number of years ago, once I reached Powerseller status I didn't get the free listings any more, they all incurred an insertion fee. I stopped selling once I realised that happened. When I started selling again a few years ago, I was worried when I reached Powerseller status again, because of what happened before. I was shocked to see that the 40 free listings every month remained. They have remained ever since.

Back to the OP's query, I just checked my seller dashboard and even though I am now a TRS on that account, and have been since the November evaluation, it still says I am not a PS. It says "top rated sellers must be bronze or above". Mine has a greyed out PS symbol with "none" written under it, yet it has a green tick against it!

However, when I click on the symbol to check the requirements of being a PS, it says that I am bronze.

To be a PS you have to have 100 transactions in the year and $US1,000, which the OP has more than achieved. Hopefully it shows up next month for them.

That's excellent photoshopping whoever did that. I saw that cat on "Rude Tube" the other night, which are clips taken from YouTube that are popular. It's a cat in France that started doing the standing up thing when he couldn't see out the window. It was just the standing cat in the video, no costume and no smaller cat to the side. Some people are so clever, I'd have no idea how to photoshop something like that!

Perhaps if you go for a job in retail, and let it be known that you are a Top Rated Seller on eBay, it might just cement the deal

(shows you can give teriffic customer service)!!!

Not too sure of that, kopes.

This and my other non-store IDs aren't PS or TRS, but one is closing in.

However my store ID is definitely both and I still get free relists, and have been able to use the last 3 lots of 200 freebies.

Another furphy, methinks. BUSINESS sellers who register as a business don't get them. Just ask mbselections.

My private account is TR and a Power seller and still gets the 40 freebies each month, plus any extras from forum links.

On a serious note, its noticably thinned out over there lately. There doesnt seem to be much happening compared to 18 months ago. Where have all the powersellers gone ???
