forget about trading assistants, you can get all the assistance you need right here on this thread.
Look around and find a couple of small items that you wish to sell. Look for items that would not have complicated postage options. Things that can be sent in an envelope, small padded bag or prepaid satchel will keep postage simple.
Look at listings for similar items to get a feel for what should be in the listing. Look also at completed listings to get a feel for an appropriate pricing for the items. Look also at which item sold and what set those listings apart from the ones that didn't sell.
If you sell a few items and find it too much work then by all means seek out a trading assistant.
