Firstly :
My new 200 listings begin at midnight 1/3/16.
I have scheduled listings to appear around 8.30pm on the 1/3/16 - assuming as this is after midnight - & - the 200 free kick in again.
Secondly : (this ties in with the firstly)
Noticed I have 'recommendations' for photos.
Looking at the recommendations - to apply change there is a cost of 50c per item for those scheduled for listing on 1/3/16 - could leave those - until after then.
Not sure why the photos have recommendations - either they are not big enough - can someone explain - please - 1600 x 500 pixels - in kbs.
Also - thought it may have been the text - but all photos have it & not all have the recs.

This is the dilema - have been doing the text for the past 5 or 6 years.
No Watermark - ever
Never a prob.

@kopenhagen5 wrote:Gee you're lucky, when I have tried listing with text in the pic, it's been rejected.
But then there may have been multiple probs before I changed and used different pics.
I usually resize the picture - etc - then add the text.
It becomes part of the picture.
How have you been doing the text.

I have 59 listings with photo recommendations. And 586 asking for item specifics. All my listings have adequate pics and item specifics, where available, so I ignore eBay. As I also do with 'top tips' and a lot of other rubbish.

I sometimes get photo recommendations just because eBay thinks I should have more images uploaded the listing. They also like square pics, so can flag rectangular images as not "optimal".

The freebies have known to reset on the 2nd, so next time better to be on the safe side.
(scanning some horse pics in for you to see later)
Good evening Kopes,
Usually the time is right on - for here - for the 200 new listings.
1st of our month - not 15 or so hours later.
Think it is because they are scheduled - not to begin till well after midnight - and it is not being picked up they will be within the new listing timeframe.
Will leave the lot - see if it is the Friday Fairy - having a lend.
Have a great weekend.
I've found the free listing allocation kicks in right on midnight on the 1st (eastern time), but the listing limits don't kick in until 15-18 hours later (I'm guessing they run on PST).
