Oh yes, it does look good doesn't it?! 5555. Just thought I'd add the number in in case she gets new feedback and others are wondering why the comment was made.

I have Win 7, so won't be upgrading (not sure if I even can), but my husband keeps getting prompted to upgrade to 10 (he's got Win8). I'll tell him to wait.

I wish I had Win 7....my OH still has it.

Now I have to go and see who left me feedback.....I have been keeping an eye on the feedback waiting for 5555 to come up but as of late last night I was still 2 away.

Unfortunately there are still a few items on the way and I know the sellers will leave feedback when I receive them.  Oh well, it is nice to see all those 5s even if it is only for a few days.

Re: Upgrade to Word 10

DH hates Win 8, has done since he got his new computer. One thing he really hated was having no start button, so I installed one for him. It's probably good on a tablet, but we both felt it was useless for a computer. I turned a lot of the other annoying "features" off too. I'm happy to stay with 7 for now. It does everything I want it to (except I keep getting kicked off the net and it's not always the router. All drivers are up to date, everything is up to date, everything is spotlessly clean).

Re: Upgrade to Word 10

Can you downgrade back to 7 even if 7 was never on your computer? His came preinstalled with 8. He asked them to put 7 on it because he'd used my computer a few times and liked it but they said it couldn't be done.

Re: Upgrade to Word 10

Probaby not, now that you mention it

You had to actually buy Win7 in the first place

Otherwise it's an illegal copy.

But the info is there for those poor souls trying to cope with Win8

I hated it too.

We have installed 10 on one desktop and 2 laptops. I find it is much quicker and cleaner than either 7 or 8.

I'm having dificulty installing on the last computer as it is conflicting with something and I have no idea what. I saw a suggestion online to uninstall drivers but I have no idea what or how so unfortunately this computer is stuck with 7.
