I received an email this morning headed something like IMPORTANT NOTICE, and from a person, not the Police or Infringements Office. It alleged that I had received a traffic infringement and owed something like $400+ dollars.
Sorry, I didn't keep all the accurate details before deleting it.
So if anyone does receive something like this - get rid of it immediately - DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS.
I know it's not an eBay issue, but figured this forum was a good place to put out a warning.

Just loose change compaired to what you're going to receive

My latest one this morning was "important private document". I don't click to open them, I right click and go to the message source which shows whats written in there without opening it. It wantedme to open an attachment. Got one the other day from I think telstra. The wording was a dead giveaway and it came from Germany somewhere.

It certainly adds weiogh to the evolutionary 'Out of Africa' theory. Everyone I know has (had) a relative in Nigeria!

I had one from Telstra telling me I'd paid my account twice, and to follow the link, put in my credit card details to get a refund. (I didn't )
Ironically, I'd paid my account only a few hours before.
It looked very genuine and I wonder how many people get caught!!

Some get caught out not realizing they're not even with Telstra.
