What does the hour glass mean for paypal?

A buyer bought 3 separate items on 13th march and she has gone through the checkout and next to that on my sold page is an hour glass, it says that the buyer marked payment sent on 15th march.

I have checked my paypal account and my bank account and there is no payment gone through for her.

I have tried to contact her, but she hasnt replied.

She has bought from me before and there wasnt any problems it was a straight out paypal payment.

I have just openned a non paying bidder case for the items, as I havent heard a thing from her since the auctions ended and I have nothing from ebay or paypal to say she has paid.

Do you have the right buyer as this is what you've said

And the buyer you left feedback for on 13th March 2 hours after auction ended is exact same buyer who bought 3 seperate items on 13th March so I'm confused lol

The auction for the 3 items ended on the 13th march.

I left feedback for the buyer for another item she had bought previously earlier in the month the f/back for that was left on the 13th march.

Gotcha-well,she doesn't LOOK like the sort who wouldn't pay ie she's a seller also with excellent feedback.

Hi, I know you have said that you have checked that your email address is correct, but I had a similar problem a while back where the hour glass was appearing, I rang Paypal and they were able to fix the problem on the spot and the payment then went through fine, for me it was an issue with my email address and having recently created a new ebay account at the time. 

It may be worth just calling  Paypal to see if they can help you and shed some light on the situation.
