Hi all, Sorry I am having a bit of a rant but am a tad frustrated by the selling process at the mo.
I havent been a seller for a good long while now, just a buyer, but thought I would get back into selling. In the past as a seller, I rarely had to wait for my buyer to pay for what they bought. Now I have 3 items sold and monies outstanding! One as long as 8 days now and not a word from the buyer. I have requested contact details and, of course, the number doesnt exist!
I think I will be scared back into not selling anymore as I dont think I can deal with these frustrating buyers!! Is this the norm now or is it the exception?

What about people who put things on hold in a shop for 48 hrs and never pick them up is that stealing. The store can't sell them then has to re hang them and wait for them to sell.

The store can ask for a deposit before they will agree to hold the goods, though. They also have the chance to say no - neither of which can be done on eBay if a person simply confirms a purchase.
I don't liken NPBs to people walking around a store holding an item then putting it back, or asking if something can be held for a limited amount of time.... I liken it more to those shoppers that spot something they want, then hide it somewhere in the store to stop others from buying it, in the hope it's still there if / when they ever come back.
