I've just got slammed over $50 for basic store fees when I have never subscribed to their package! I tested out their basic store for a day when they still have the 3 months promotions then unsub after knowing that I'm not going to sell that much
Otherwise I'd have 600 listings per month, I'm only allowed to have 40 listings per month and I'm staying within that limit. I've checked my account and realised that they charged me for last month and this month for basic store package, went and check my account, it's only 40 listings per month and said, I'm not subscribing to any store package.
Really Ebay, that's some integrity dealing in business.

That little red door beside your ID means you have a store. Called luxury*liquidation.
Check your subscriptions.

You have a store with just 17 listings in it.
Are you sure it has been cancelled? Once it was opened you would have to pay for a month at least.

We're not ebay here. We can only ooohhh and aaahhh and sympathise.
Call ebay and complain about it in the morning.

On the Store Packaging and Pricing Page, it says
If you cancel or downgrade your monthly subscription in the first month you will be billed for that and the next month. Cancellations at any other time will be billed to the end of that month. See the full Stores subscription terms.

No cooling-off period for stores, I see... It doesn't look like a fair term in a contract to be obliged to pay for something already cancelled; the eBay Stores Subscription Terms of Service says "Your first invoice after you sign up for an eBay Store includes:
It's not really specified in those Terms that the mandatory subscription period for new Store subscribers is 2 months.
It isn't as clearly written as it should be. Joztamps, as you pointed out, the Stores Packaging and Pricing page is much more precise and it even gives that information about cancelling in the first month with a large warning sign next to it; that should also be included on the Terms of Service page, in my view.

Well, I'm more than confused.
You're registered in Australia, but your items locations are Phoenix, Arizona and your prices are in US$ - and listed on Aussie ebay????

And that's why they charge you for 2 months.
To stop people doing exactly what you did.
You should have done your research before jumping in feet first.
