What would you do as a seller, buyer of used DVD's with Zero feedback

I sold a 3 DVD set, Used. The buyer is in NSW, has zero feedback but a member since 31 Dec, 2012

I charged $7.95 for the postage.

I am suspicious (zero feedback) especially with Ebays policies re looking after the buyers.

FYI, I tend to move any money in PayPal out pretty quickly after it arrives by sending it to

another paypal account belonging to someone else.

So, I am thinking I might send it registered post, requiring a signature.

Any thoughts ?

Would you send them registered or just post them normally ?

I could post them express 500gm Post bag which has a tracking number ?

There should be no need to, as 500g prepaid satchels have tracking. As long as they're lodged OTC and scanned upon lodgement, you will receive a receipt with the tracking number. If you send the item as parcel post, it uses a PO-generated tracking number which is printed on the same receipt as the postcode. If you want a postcode receipt with a prepaid satchel however, you generally need to ask them to put it on for you.

Possibly your PO has told you porkies, or maybe I'm just lucky, but I've always had a postcode on my under 500g receipts.

How long ago did he buy them? Maybe he's having issues with the payment. It can be confusing for new buyers. Maybe send him a message and ask if he is having any issues with the payment and if he is, let you know and you can talk him through it.

If you get no response, open a non payer dispute after 4 days. That might get his attention. If he still doesn't pay, close it after 4 days and get your fees back. Don't forget to add him to your party list if that happens.

Open a non payer dispute then, if it's been 4 days. It will get you your fees back when you close it in 4 days time. The buyer will also get a strike on their account, which being a 0 FB buyer, is not a good start!

The worst that can happen now is that the buyer pays, then vents his anger by leaving four negatives. The 4 day wait to close the UPI is always the longest 4 days you'll ever have to wait.

Yes, but this is my persoal account, not to worried if some small minded individual does that.

I might just hand deliver them to him in Sydney !!!
