Why don't I get bid notification emails?

Im selling an item and bids are being made .... can I get automatic emails to advise me of what bids are being made.  It's a pain having to log into eBay every time to check.

You should be logging in to check if you have any questions regularly so check for bids then.

On my iphone I get a message when bids are placed but there is no need for them really or notification of bids to fill your inbox.

I had the same problem yesterday. This what i did and my email notifications appeared again.

Click on "Account"

Click on Communication preferences

Scroll down to Seller Activity and where it says "Item sold" set it to "real time"

Should fix the problem.
