After 15 years selling on Ebay they decide to hold funds for two weeks for a sale.
As usual, there is no reason but it is a nice little scam for ebay.
Lining their bank account with funds and getting interest for it before they have to pay you.

THEY HOLD FUNDS FOR AN ARBITRARY PERIOD - THEY EXTORT COMPLIANCE WITH THREATS - THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO TELL YOU WHY - THIS IS A DISGRACE - IF I DID BUSINESS THIS WAY - EBAY WOULD BAN ME FROM THEIR SITE - WHO IS GOING TO HOLD EBAY TO ACCOUNT >>>????

Of course you would have read up on the policies for "new sellers", which you are, and the holds imposed on your funds.
One feedback for selling in the last year and that was a neg - that certainly wouldn't inspire eBay to see you as a reliable seller.
By the way SHOUTING on the boards won't release your money any quicker.......
Edit. I had to have a laugh at you using TRS as a profile pic when you aren't one at all.

Yell all you like, eBay is never going to read your rant here
If you did not agree then why proceed with selling again?
It is not hidden information
You still have a jolly lot of stuff listed the holds will also apply to
Even longer if you fail to post items with tracking within your handling period

This is true, Ive been selling on them as a private seller for years and suddenly they decided to hold my payment and the buyer of the fone i sold is already enjoying the item.

3 recent sales, so you are an intermittent seller at best and therefore deemed to be a new seller,as such the policy (which is over 4 yrs old and even applied under paypal) definitely applies to you.
Try reading a policy, T&C's or even some posts here, not just a header, you might actually learn a bit about ebay and how things work .

Not true
You have not been selling regularly for years
Not suddenly
Yes, the buyer should have already been sent the item, as agreed to by you when you listed it

I have exactly the same situation - any excuse they can find to increase their income - they put our money in a holding account and after three days the interest starts accruing. What can we do? katedickson

Totally incorrect, do some research before spruiking bull. Money on hold does not accrue interest, and it is illegal for it to be used for any purpose.

You're on the Australian boards.
Ask on the UK boards for an answer that you like.
