No problems here. I do have to ask though, why are you paying relisting fees? Only crazy people do that. I use the 40 free a month for non store and take advantage of free listing promotions when they pop up. Never paid a listing fee in my life. If my items don't sell, I don't pay a cent. I refuse to give eBay any more than what they already get.

May, June were really bad. I saw a slight spike after the election but now back to 50%.
Monday morning I'm usually packing and posting from the weekend. This Monday...... nothing.
SMP and paypal graphs show the damage!

Hi Daintree
Thinks have been a little quite however my sales appear to be chugging along. I sell similar items to yourself and find "Buy it Now" is the better option for me. No longer do any auctions.
Feel with collectables if I set a reasonable price and someone wants that item they are more likely to buy it now immediately than wait for an auction to finish.
Might be worth thinking about.

Its the new Google and they are killing the web. It is not just eBay but many other ecommerce websites. It just gets worse and worse every month. This place has become a ghost town!.. i used to have 5-10 sales each day. I am lucky to have one per week nowdays. Dead as dead can be!
I'm a website developer and SEO specialist.

I have 1-2 sales per day. Last year I had 1-2 sales per day. The year before probably 1-1 sales per day.
My last financial year profits from eBay were 10% above the previous, which was lineball with the one before. Admittedly, I used my non-store accounts to pre-list and made about 100 sales which I may or may not have sold if I'd put them in my store.
it seems to revolve around what people are selling and their strategies. There are certainly sellers who feel they have to be the lowest price. I don't. I sell, when the same items offered for less are still there. It could be my 100% feedback, it more likely is the fact that I provide a synopsis of the book I am selling. Not for the synopsis, but more for the fact that I obviously take a bit of time and effort in my listings.
Who knows? Not me, but I am quite happy with my sales; less so with eBay's defect system.

this subject gets a run about once a week.
the problem as i see it is competition, ebay today has masive competition from the ever increasing internet shopping world.
ebay began as a buy/swap/sell type site then became a buy or sell site.
then all the fees began building up, so lots of sellers are moving on to creating their own sites.
as a buyer you can google what you want and most of the time ebay isnt the top site that comes up.
as much as i buy on ebay i find better prices on a lot of things outside ebay. i guess i'm not alone there.
as a seller i do ok but i'm a niche seller, that helps.

Thats the problem realy. Ebay are no longer a google favourite. I'll be surprised if ebay now gets even half the amount of shoppers traffic it used to get from google. This plus a bad economy gives the perfect storm.
I wish everyone would stop using google for searches. Google are simply destroying the web.
