To be fair, I'm not actually sure if eBay suggests you put photos in the description. I seem to remember something advising against that.
Well, if they do allow it, try a site like Imageshack.us or Photobucket. You upload your picture and then copy the link to the description area and it should show up.

I don't think putting photos in description is against eBay listing policy. A lot of established sellers do it. I've been doing it for over 3 years and never got my listings pulled out for the pictures in description.
To put photos in description, join photo hosting service such as photobucket (free). Load pictures in the site and get HTML code for them.
Go to HTML description box in listing page and copy and paste HTML code. Go back to Standard description box and cut and paste the picture to whereever you like to put the picture on. You don't need to learn HTML to do this. Just simple copy and paste. Easy.

If you are trying to list multi choice ie sizes or colours etc, you need to have a store or be a PS

Forget Photobucket, it's a mess, I am after years of using it looking elsewhere. and this is a good start:

Yes. Just put HTML code in HTML description box.
Photobucket site has changed recently and it drove me crazy for a while but I got to used to new site and decided to stay as I have heaps of photos in it already.
If you are new to photobucket I don't think the change makes any difference as you don't know how it's like before.

There is absolutely nothing good about photobucket in this moment; you cannot upload into individual folders, you cannot sort the way you want, they decide in what order the pics are stored in, you cannot see the pic title unless you click on it. When I acidentally uploaded wrong pics, I deleted the whole album and then set it up again with the same name but when I tried to upload the correct pics, it also retrieved the old (wrong ones) and then sorted the whole lot by date time = mixed the 2 lots together. I had to delete the whole album, open a new album with different name, and then upload the new pics. Basically, it seems to be telling me "we do not care what you want to do, we do for you what we think you should want".
Is there anything that anybody finds better, more useful than in the old site?
