They used to not be able to leave negative feedback?

They still can't leave any feedback as long as you open a UPI then close it 4 days later without their having paid. If they've left feedback of any description in the interim, it should be removed automatically once the UPI has been closed, but if not, ring ebay and they will delete it on the spot.

The feedback blocks and automatic removal don't appear to work when feedback is left via some devices - both for buyers and sellers

In this is the case a request needs to be made for eBay to manually remove.

Yes closed the case but feedback not removed. Also contacted ebay but nothing done yet. The feedback has been there for a few days now, so even though they have not paid, they can still harm a seller's reputation.

Seems buyers who purchase deliberately so they can leave a negative, have worked this out.
