I notice my calculated postage within ebay is no longer working, it just says cannot calculate please input a valid postcode, I try many but same thing, I havent modified any item details for some time. Ebay claim it has to do with restrictions on dimensions despite the fact it worked before and nothing has changed however adjustmnents of dimensions and weight yield no success. she then told me the resolution was to offer free postage, thats when it clicked, are they trying to force us to offer free postage by sabotaging the calculated postage option?
is anyone else having issues with this? due to size and weight free postage is not a good option as some areas could cost over $100 to send to.

In my listings the parcel post with signature is not working, but when I chose parcel post without signature it was fine, as was express parcel. So I listed everything as an ordinary parcel and will pay the $3 from my own pocket. Spent most of the day yesterday trying to work it out.

It's working for me, so I WON'T be ringing them.

Having the same issue on all listings that require calculated postage.
Just called eBay Concierge and they are apparently aware of the issue and said they would get back to me when the problem was fixed. I won't hold my breath, but will certainly keep bugging them until it is fixed.
They suggested adding a different courier option as a work around as she seemed to imply Australia Post Signature was the issue.
Curious to know if others get the same issue with other postage options?

Still an issue with my listings. I have had plenty of messages asking about post and why teh BUY NOW says I wont post to their location...very annoying. I wonder if sellers will receive a MISSED SALE refund from ebay....just a thought

From what I can see this issue is something that is specifically affecting all calculated postage listings that use the โAustralia Post Parcel Post Parcel + Signatureโ postage service.
It is clearly a system bug/defect that eBay will need to resolve with a technical fix.
You should be able to work around the issue by editing your listings to change the postage service to the โAustralia Post Parcel Post Parcelโ service and then adding the extra approx. $3 in the 'Handling Cost' field to cover the additional amount required for Signature on Delivery service. Once you've changed the postage service in your listing as above go back into the listing and you should see that postage amount is now calculating correctly for your item.
This workaround has temporarily resolved the issue for me until eBay get around to implementing a proper fix (it will work where you are only offering a single postage service but doesn't help if you are wanting to offer your buyers a choice of multiple services).
Hope this can be of help to anyone else affected by this issue.

Sorry to shatter your theory but....I only have one listing currently with calculated postage, and the only domestic postage I have selected is 'Australia Post Parcel Post Parcel' (such a stupid name) and nothing about signature.

Yes, it is the lantern, but the calculated postage isn't working for me. If I click the 'calculate' button, it shows:
I'm assuming this is what happens to buyers trying to determine postage cost. Maybe not?

Are you viewing on the mobile site/platform? Here's how your listing appears for me - this is on the regular PC based website:
And here it is in search results:
If you are on mobile, perhaps have a look at how the listing displays for you on a regular PC.
All the instances where I am experiencing this issue relate to display of listings on regular PC-based website.
