I just had a case and appeal closed on a $30 transaction where the buyer was not happy with scratches on a cord . Now I was overseas when this took place so a refund was issued and the buyer provided tracking info and sent the item back ... the only issue was he sent the item back to the wrong address. eBay are saying this is my fault for not confirming the address ... I like how they wear u down on disputes through chat so eventually u give up and get tired ..... when u have a monopoly what chance do u have ?

The address must have been one you provided at some stage even if it was just your primary delivery address. I don't see what being overseas has to do with it, it is hard to find a part of the world where you cannot get access to your account either with a computer or through a mobile phone. If you were checking your messages every couple of days you should have seen where to input the return address.
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.
See what a trendsetter I am?

When you say wrong address, what exactly do you mean by that?
Was it a case of them making a mistake when they transcribed the address, so they got the number or name of the street completely wrong? Or was it as PJ suggested and they sent it to an address that had previously been supplied by you and not updated?

Try as I may, I can't see what your problem is? I'm guessing as you've not been back since you wrote your original message, we'll never know.
Life goes on.
