full refund on pick up item without making a claim?

I sold some boxes as a buy it now and the buyer paid through paypal yesterday.

They picked up the boxes today then an hour later txt me saying 

what she bought was not worth $48.00 and that I had ripped her off. ( even after I threw in extra left over boxes for free!)

I told her that if she was not happy then she should not have taken them.

She says that if she opens a case then it will negatively impact on my account and that I should do the refund without it.

I have never heard of picking up an item, taking it home and then txting for an item not as described later.

She said she is bringing the boxes back tomorrow and that I am a digrace for ripping her off. I told her I didnt force her to bid to begin with and my description was accurate. 

What do I do if she doesnt put in a claim and dumps all the boxes on my doorstep?

You didn't have an auction.    Did you think you did?

Your listing was BIN or Best Offer.     That's not an auction.

They made an offer and were too impatient to wait for your reply

and hit the BIN button.

But I see your confusion.  You've had 2 previous successful auctions for,

apparently, the exact same boxes.

Boxes can be sourced at your local supermarket for free.

Or any businesses who just want to be rid of them

Maybe she realised she could have got some of those boxes from the local hospital for free. Some of them are larger versions of the ones my friends get for me. Dunno what she's whinging about, they're really strong sturdy boxes........but she could have got them for nothing. I have to say, it was a pretty awesome mark up on free boxes! Maybe I should sell off some of mine LOL!!!!

Yeah, OP has had 2 previous auctions using the same pics.

Sold for $10 - $15 less.   Are they the same boxes re-listed

because they didn't think they got enough for them?

Good strong boxes can be had anywhere for free. 

Just don't get it.  Even the newspaper for packing can be sourced

from a newsagent for free.  Yesterday's papers - only the front page

needs to be returned.  The rest is just filling up their recycle bin

In future if you have pickup only,print out a copy of the invoice and ask them to sign it thats all ok when taken,this should give you extra evidence if required
