hi what do i have to do to change from a seller to a buyer thanks

Decide what you want to buy or bid on and and start buying or bidding !!

Its as easy as that !

Nothing, the same eBay account can be used for both selling and buying, and the same Paypal account.

Just start bidding! 🙂


But if you want to separate the two, you can open up a second account (just sign out, then register a new ID).

You will need a different email address, and a new user ID, but all other details can be the same. You can then link your Paypal account to the new eBay ID too.

Errrr, since you've only been a buyer on this ID, I'm guessing you want to know how to become a seller...............

The main one is to upgrade your Paypal account to "premium" ie put a credit card onto it, so that your eBay fees can be taken out, then start (I think..) selling.

Read up on the selling pages here on the boards, then you'll discover some of the pitfalls that can occur.............

Hi Padi, yeah saw that...but since so many around here have separate buying and selling accounts...thought I would just go that route.

Having a credit card on file with Paypal isn't enough to get Premium-ed, you need to action it via "upgrade" of the account as well from personal type to a business type.
