Re: i havea bit of a dilema

I sold a book today for $10 all up, BIN. The buyer said they can't pay until Tuesday. I said "fine".

No skin off my nose if they eventually don't pay. A few clicks sorts it out and I relist.

Re: i havea bit of a dilema

Nothing really (lol), I am just being an idiot. I was curious if it is possible to restrict buyers to a particular postcode.

The Tas bit made me smile ... you can't block by postcode, but I wish I could (for certain listings) as the cost for postage is reasonable up and down the eastcoast for some larger products, but astronomical when posting to WA, NT or Tas.  I know the postage calculator can deal with this, but some buyers don't really bother with it .. I would rather list to Vic, NSW, Qld only on my larger things.

If you could get even more intricate eg:  express to WA,  that would avoid some confusion too!  Although I communicate and tell buyers that express is not guaranteed overnight, especially not from regional Qld to WA I get the impression most people still kind of believe it should be!

Re: i havea bit of a dilema

Yup an unpaid stock item of $10 cost you 0.5c

My most recent unpaid item cost me $2.00 - and took a higher priced item ($89) that I would much prefer to have visible to other buyers, out of circulation for 9 days, as I don't run a relative lot of listings on this ID.

Re: i havea bit of a dilema

That's eBay. I can only relate my own viewpoint. And it will cost me nothing really as I will (if necessary) relist on the day the book would have relisted.

I do run auctions, but I make sure they list in the first couple of days of the month, when I get the free listings appertaining to my store.

Maybe your original bidder isn't happy and can't understand why you've treated him badly carly.

Re: i havea bit of a dilema

BTW is Norfolk Island international or local?

I have never had a buyer from Norfolk but doesn't most of its supplies go by boat so it could take a long time for an item to get to the buyer.

When you fly to Norfolk Island you depart from the international terminal in Sydney.
