No it's not allowed.
But in his listings he says to 'email him with your details'
As soon as the bots pick up the email addy, both he and the buyer will get a week's suspension.
You can always report all his items

Wowee, the bit about will offer a discount if bought off ebay is pretty blatant.
I know ebay is a pain sometimes but it's a bit rude to expect them to host ads where you have basically agreed to pay a commission on sales and then try to sneak out of paying after ebay exposure finds you a buyer.
I have seen ads that do it in a more subtle way than that. I was looking at ads for doilies (yes, that ages me, doesn't it) and came across one that said her items were also for sale on another website & were a dollar or so cheaper there.
She didn't name the website at all. I was curious. Checked out gumtree. nope.
Where else could it be? Quick sales. Bingo. She actually had a bigger range on there than here. Whether the tactic works I have no idea as I wasn't a buyer, just a looker.
Mind you, it is a two way street at times. My sister a while back sold a fairly expensive item on ebay-a time share holiday for 2 weeks-and the buyer then said he would pay cash rather than use paypal (he lived nearby) as long as she gave him 2 month terms, like a layby. She was a bit taken aback.

It's only gone because the auction ended - with no bids I might add
Did they sell it off ebay? Hmmmmmm?
