After numerous tries to chat to someone at ebay I have found out the following.

If you have a sale in markdown manager that ends you have to wait 7 days until you can start another markdown sale that will include those items.  Now for someone like me who puts their whole store on sale at  the same time it is very frustrating having to wait a week .

Especially at xmas when you are trying to catch buyers. And especially when you are just small and competing with the big guns (shops) on ebay. Ebay caters more for the shops now than the little people who got them to where they are today !!!!

The old markdown manager never had this problem.

You can have a sale end and then start another straight away.

A big stuff of up Ebay !!!!

Then again if all stores had all their items on sale all the time, kinda makes a mockery of sales.

I always thought there was a waiting period for any items having been in markdown. And I thought it was 4 days or there abouts.

I have permanent volume discounts in place...

This thread gives me a definite sense of deja vu.
