Has anyone looked at his ID....it indicates that he is a wholesaler. His profile picture looks more like a wholesale warehouse to me rather than a shop. He probably supplies $2 shops.
Some of his listings mention that he has hundred, even thousands of an item. I am not so concerned about where he is getting the stck but the way he is posting it.
If it is coming from Berala I could possibly have my items as early as tomorrow.

@mbselections00 wrote:Well, I know this is a bit off the track of re-cycling used envelopes, but. I've had a quick look - at Item Number 331239003761 (also happens to be who I buy my padded envelopes from, so a seller I trust at least)
And in the description it says :-
A postage paid imprint can be printed directly onto the upper right hand corner of your items (where a stamp would normally be) to show that the postage has been paid. It features the words "POSTAGE PAID AUSTRALIA" and is useful if you want to pay using an Australia Post Business Credit Account, or make large volume lodgements.
Don't have an account? You can pay by cash, debit or credit card over the counter at an Australia Post retail outlet. Or find out about becoming an account customer
Please note: Articles bearing a 'Postage Paid Australia' imprint must be lodged at an Australia Post retail outlet
Out of curiosity, will have to ask at PO tomorrow & get some clarification - this just seems to leave an obvious opening for dishonesty to me.
I did check with the PO - yes, the Postage Paid Australia stamps can be privately purchased. Articles marked with Postage Paid stamps MUST be lodged over the counter. And yes, you must have a Business Credit Account.
So then I put forward the scenario, what if they are posted in a Red Box. Mail collected from Red Boxes is taken to sorting centres & is kept separate from the mail collected from the actual PO, so the sorting centre can tell immediately & the sender would be charged. So then I also asked, what happens if there is no Return Sender Address. They said in most cases, the article would be delivered. In some cases the article may be opened to identify the sender & sometimes the recipient may be asked to pay for the postage.
It only occurred to me after I left the PO - these envelopes all have the senders details & as these companies all have accounts, I wonder are they being charged and perhaps not even realising ?
What a scum bag. I'm not so sure he's a wholesaler because if I've looked at the correct ID, he doesn't have a very large range listed. I'm still inclined to agree with 'five finger discount' theory Or perhaps a few boxes fell off the back of a truck ?
I guess it's over to joe, cq & lyndal, but I think this person needs to be stopped & soon !!
Just my opinion of course . . . . . . . . .
Edit. I think he probably just marks the orders as posted whenever he sees them.

very interesting mb this seller must be very lucky or the part about the recipient paying does not happen as you would think a buyer who would have to pay would give the buyer a red dot for sure. im thinking that the sorting is not up to scratch,

it puts a new spin on recycling doesn't it. I get heaps of these envelopes, so far i have used them for saving seeds in. Didn't realize i could be saving myself money for postage lol
I wouldn't be game to try it. I can't believe he keeps getting away with it.
Maybe he is just very poor and can't afford to pay. You like to think he is just trying to make ends meet and not ripping off the system.

I doubt there would be too many game to try it. I give him 10/10 for ingenuity, but at the end of the day, it's dishonest and someone is paying one way or another.
Gee, correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't most sellers here making a hard earned honest buck ? We would never consider doing anything like this. Sure, selling and covering all costs & fees on low value items may mean the price appears inflated, but that's the way it is. Heaven help me if any of my competition gets wind of this and starts doing the same thing, lol. (Just joking - I'm sure they would never do it !)
I'm pretty sure there are many sellers quite reliant on ebay to make extra money to put food on the table and pay the bills, but they do it honestly. And seriously, at the end of the day this sod is not making much in the process - and there's no excuse. As pointed out, one would assume from his photo, he would at least like buyers to believe he's a $2 shop retailer or wholesaler, I actually doubt he is. A person who is either, would surely have more sense - perhaps an employee ?

Lol, on a lighter note - have your orders arrived yet Lyndal ? Will be interesting to hear whose envelopes were used this time
I guess there's a positive bonus to what this seller's doing - keeping us entertained & having a laugh (It just bothers me that it's at someone else's expense)
