if 1 of the items is not there , for instance sellersends all items in 1 package ,for saving the buyer postage , but 1 item is missing .
as i know pretty much if its tracked and it gets there ,its in the seller favour , but if its not tracked its in te buyers favour thank you and please only reply if you are a current seller ids only with at least 99% feedback thanks.this info would be very helpfull for a friend of mine.

I am being respectful of the OP, as he uses this word in the same context that I did, and I used it so my post would make sense to him.
As for the google, once again, where's that stawka graphic with the hands held up to the (face) cheeks?

its not about getting complaints , in fact its the buyer who asked , but only wanted to know , if every item in that parcel counted for tracking if there was a problem .
How can that be?
I don't allegedly fit your criteria for a valid poster so surely anything I post is irrelevant.
After all experience and knowledge are only relevant if the poster posts on a selling ID with lots of feedback and no issues. Even though no issues would tend to mean the poster has no experience with problems. I will admit I have had few issues, but I READ what's has been written, even better, REMEMBER what has been written, and would never bring my issues to the boards.
But I'M not a stirrer.

that actually rings bells & turns lights on so to speak, I think that has also happened to me but I had totally forgotten about it - plus whenever random things like that happen to me, I figure I must have made some kind of mistake, because I freely admit I am pretty hopeless when it comes to technology & computers, lol, perhaps I blame myself too often, when really it's the beastly system
I do add mine via Selling Manager (I think) so maybe that's why I don't have too many problems.
Fortunately, have never really had any claims or the need to rely on Seller Protection
, but in the early days when trying to read up on policies etc, I must admit to concluding at the end of the day, as a seller, you're pretty much up the creek - the buyer is always right !! But I'm not one for 'the fine print', it just doesn't sink in for me
PS I must add - my previous post was in no way intended as having a shot at bettyboops, reading over it, it may have sounded that way, my apologies if it did as that most certainly was not my intention
I don't use selling manager (I'm not even really sure what it is!) and I can upload tracking numbers for the same seller on different transactions. I did earlier in the week. Seller had bought and paid for 3 separately and stopped paying after I sent him a message and said to wait until he'd finished buying before paying. I also asked him if he wanted me to hold off posting the already paid for ones to send them all together. He said yes please, so I did. He also bought one item from my other account.
When the time came to upload the tracking numbers, Each individual transaction accepted the same tracking number, except the one on my other account (which I knew wouldn't accept it). He knew I was sending them all together.
Even if all items are paid for as a combined invoice, it's a real pain these days that the tracking number has to be uploaded for each item. It never used to be like that. You'd upload it from the top dropdown and it would mark all items as posted and all with a tracking number. It must be frustrating for the few buyers I've had that have bought 15 or 20 items getting 15 or 20 emails saying their item has been posted.
I know I wasn't supposed to post in this thread. I know I was one of the "names not mentioned", but I don't care. It's a free forum and anyone is free to post wherever they like as long as they post within the forum rules.

Again, one of those cases where I thought I had done it that way, but as I can't now, thought I was just losing my marbles !!

That's the thing that concerns me, lol, not that I have had many buyers lately, but it does bother me that they may be receiving multiple messages - hahaha, hopefully like me, they don't bother reading them

I don't read them either and just do a bulk delete, but it's still annoying seeing 10 of the same "posted" email there! I've also noticed lately that when a buyer requests a total for multiple items, I'll get an email for each item, even though I know they have only hit the request total button once. I have no idea why eBay decided to change these things and make them even more annoying than they were before!

Yep, i ment by joe, if anyone took it as me being picky, that was not my intent, my thought went into that post, i just did not clearly or accurately execute it.
