strange buyer

sold him an item, kitchen appliance, returned stating item was damaged in transit and had marks where it had been heated, it had 2 scratches also, strange brand new item.

he returned it, we sent second one, now he reckons he does not want the item.

"The item has been returned to the Post office to be returned to sender. I do not want or need the fry pan,"

my question is, why would he purchase it in the first place, maybe he did the damage to get a refund.

Its also funny that he stated he has returned to the PO cause his next message states

"Please provide me with a return authorization number for the second unit which was not ordered. I will return the item"

me thinks someone is wasting my time and money.

Re: strange buyer

Do you take note of the serial nos as you sell items? Might be an idea ?:|

Re: strange buyer

I would leave the ball in his court now.

Does he mean he just took it to the PO and left it ? or returned to your PO Box - either way he has not actually followed protocol.

He sounds a little strange, so wait and see what happens next.

I will give you better advice if I can have that cute cat bed you've got 😉

Re: strange buyer

greencat do you want the sunny window bed?

I put it on my watch list because The Big Boofhead has a birthday coming up on the 8th June.

I would buy it for him right now but can't afford it for a couple of weeks.

Sorry OP, I went a little off topic, until he provides tracking details to Paypal or you notify Paypal you have received the item back then he won't get a refund.

Re: strange buyer

I woke up the Boofhead to show him and he seems delighted with the idea.

Re: strange buyer

The buyer probably noticed the original item was from HK and not from Australia as stated in the listing, they possibly may never have purchased in the first place if your listings show the true location of the items.

GC and Bump, would honestly trust plastic suction caps to support your poor little pcats? Your puss could end up hurt.

Re: strange buyer

the item is sourced from australia, I am slowly removing all listings from china.

It is strange that he states he did not want or need it, so why order one in the first place??

Possibly

1) Could he have damaged the item by misusing it - doesn't want another because he realises that it can't stand up to the treatment he gives it.

2) Doesn't like the quality of the item so doesn't want a replacement

3) he already had a damaged one and replaced it with your original. (A lot of trouble to go to to get a "free" pan, more likely to be 1) or 2).   )
