Well, I would say, thank God she sent that message. You may have been handling a INR if she hadn't. I bought an item weeks ago which was delivered in good time, but a whole week after I had received it the tracking still showed that it was in Chullora.

yes you are right jenny. im so glad that aus post shows very clearly that it is "in transit" definitely not delivered. i wouldnt have expected it to get there until mon or tues next week anyway.
i have sent her a message showing her the error of her ways
hi, tracking number shows that the bangle hasnt even been delivered yet. it left here (W.A) on the 6th after you paid on the 5th. it is due there mon or tues next week. this message is duly noted and saved with the date and if any adverse feedback is left then i will be reporting you to ebay.

Yes, I've had plenty of items never show up as delivered, despite positive feedback from the buyer. They don't always get scanned at delivery.

AP's tracking isn't the most reliable, so as above, they may well have received the item - if they have, your response isn't going to go down too well, I suspect.
Just as an aside, I looked at some of the listings to check the silver bangle...did you intend to have text in your listings about murders in Long Island? O.o It's in white, so a lot of people might not even see it, but I did so highlighted it to see what it said. Might be worthwhile taking it out if it's in a template.

simple, ask to see a photo of the bangle and packaging. Impossible for them to do if they have not yet received the item. If they do send a pic then it just shows that tracking is not reliable indication of delivery.

How would something like that get into a listing? I am a bit clueless about the white on white thingo, but I have heard of it but never understood it.

It's just a matter of changing the font colour of the text - like this, but to white so it's almost invisible. Most eBay pages are off-white though, kind of a pale grainy grey, so it's still a little visible.
Edit: It's generally not allowed, mostly because it's been used by sellers to add in "invisible" terms and/or keyword spam - obviously not the case here, though.

not sure how it would get into a listing either.
ajarnjenny, try this, find the listing by looking at the sellers completed listings. Click and then drag from GOOD COND down to the line that starts with POSTAGE. The text will be revealled. You can practice by clicking after this sentence and dragging your cursor down to the start of my next sentence to reveal hidden text >
here is the hidden text
I'm pretty sure that white on white is specifically mentioned in what is not allowed in a listing description.
Simpler method, click on the descroption and then 'ctrl A'

You would be copping a red dot from me for that response alone, regardless of whether or not the item was as described. You have implied that the buyer is a liar and a fraud and I certainly wouldn't appreciate that, and I dare say neither will they.
Aus Post tracking is terribly unreliable, a seller of your experience should know that. I have heaps of parcels scanned as delivered when they haven't been and vice versa.
I hope you enjoy your well deserved neg.
