i'm sure a lot or most of you probably received the managed payments email this morning. in case you didn't, or missed here - ebay is rolling out managed payments later in the year with pre-registration opening shortly.
more info is located at https://sellercentre.ebay.com.au/managed-payments

Mine was already stopped from the free listings during coronavirus thing they were so kind to give us. I have stuff due to renew this evening so I will check tonight and see if they counted off my 1500.

With regards to store fees payments - if we elected to have it come out as a direct debit - i wonder will overseas transaction fees apply. I remember a while ago - I accidentally didn't have enough funds in my paypal account and it was charged to my credit card and overseas transaction fees applied because eBay is out of another country (possibly Sweden but I'm not sure).

@oz-e-seller wrote:Well as of this morning I'm on MP, now eagerly awaiting my first sale so I can not get the money for days lol. I have a buffer amount in my account so I'm good for postage costs etc while we work out how long everything takes. Anyone wanna buy something?
Don't have the 250k listings though but I assume that changes at the end of the month when it ticks over.
I'm supposed to be changed over tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it, especially because the problem with incorrect addresses in the eBay emails seems to be ongoing.
Was put on to MPs today - and made my first and only sale at 2am this morning.
She bought 9 items, and requested an invoice, but I did not receive any "Your eBay item sold!" emails for those items - only the email requesting the invoice.
Hit up the chat help and they said this is a glitch that they're looking into.
The only other issue is that under "Invoices" in the "Payments" tab, it says my last payment was $1 USD in 2018 which is so random and bizarre, but I was assured by CS that this is an error.
Once this buyer pays, I will come back and confirm if the fee is 30 cents per order (but again, I checked with CS and they said it is).
If anyone has any questions I can try to answer ... but my first buyer hasn't even paid yet so I don't know how helpful I can be.

Second sale - "Your eBay item sold!" emails and no payment email (and she's paid)
This is so much fun ...

Okay, I've now had three sales:
#1 A sale for one item, hasn't paid
#2 A sale for one item, has paid - didn't need to request an invoice, just paid
#3 A sale for nine items, has paid - requested an invoice
So ... for #1 and #2 I got "Your eBay item sold!" emails as soon as they committed to buy the items - but for #2, there was no "buyer has paid" email or anything.
Then, when #3 committed to buy her items, I only got the email requesting an invoice - and then I got "Your eBay item sold!" emails when she paid. Again, no "buyer has paid" email of any sort.
I don't know if this is how it's supposed to work, but this is how it's working for me. I feel like a "Your buyer has paid" notification email would be handy, given I got "Your eBay item sold!" emails for all of them and one of them hasn't paid.
Also, the two who have paid show as "processing" in Payments (and "Awaiting Delivery - print postage label" in the hub). I assume the "processing" status refers to the fact that the money hasn't been put into my account yet. The fee breakdown for #3 shows only ONE order processing fee, so 30 cents for the entire order is confirmed.
Good times.

Sorry to spam, just trying to give people info.
I went to the "Send Refund" option on the combined order (#3) just for fun, to see how you'd go about refunding excess postage, and oho boy.
It lists all the items, with fields to adjust the amounts, and NO field that lists the postage amount (it's not anywhere on the page). On further inspection, they've distributed the postage cost across all the items. There's a field under the items that says "order adjusment amount" so that's where you'd enter any postage refund, I guess.
It just seems unnecessarily complicated when they could just put a postage field, but okay, eBay.

Do you guys receive any email before activAtion ? 2 business days in advance ?
Something like that. I only found out a few days ago, but I don't recall exactly which day I received the email.
No major issues for me so far, except that the emails are inconsistent and confusing, but that's easily resolved because I check my hub numerous times a day anyhow.
My first payout is today, so we'll see how long it takes for the funds to hit my account, although with the weekend it'll be Monday at the very earliest, I'd imagine.

I am signed up but not yet on managed payments (a few days away). Fir the first time in months listings are again being counted off my 1500 listings counter. I know the COVID free listings arrangemnts probably stopped at the end of July but I thought free listings were being applied for those who registered early for managed paymenst from registration and not from activation. What is other's understanding about this??
