the roll out of ebay managed payments

Under the payments section on my home page, the status has updated to:

eBay is managing payments

You've successfully registered for managed payments.

Which is great, I did all the paperwork awhile ago - but I did expect to get an email to confirm what if anything happens next.

My Question - does this mean I'm now all set for Managed Payments?

Not related to the post above this one. but we can still list as of 2am 1st of march. Didn't register for MP.

As at 01/03 730am WA we haven't registered either and we are able to do new listings

Just an update as of Today 18/03 as we haven't signed up to MP we can No Longer List items, my current ongoing 30day listings are still up but it will be interesting to see if they will drop off as the time comes up to Automaticly Re-List but i feel they wont.

I have two ebay accounts. On one of them I was notified of the changes and made the appropriate changes, however I have not received any notificatio for the other account. I will be rather annoyed if the items I have for sale on that site are suspended!

It's all over the place as I have 2 accounts and was asked at the exact same time to register both for MP go figure.

Ebay must be playing bingo to decide who and when to accept them.

Given the hundreds of messages in this thread it's obvious many sellers are frustrated / confused by this managed payment system. I for one am finding it frustrating in having to check my bank account every few days and then try and reconcile the expenses and payouts against eBay's charges, etc.

I don't know if what eBay say is true about saving a few $$$'s here and there but for me I was happy with the convenience of PayPal and then a bill each month for the postage, fees, etc.

I have cut down on the number of items I'm selling,
