I am looking at closing unless there is some fee relief.

What sort of fees do you mean?  As far as final value fees go, if my monthly bill goes up, everything else being equal,  it means I'm selling more, so that's a good thing. That's the lion's share of my ebay fees. Other than that there's the store fee, and if I stop selling enough to warrant a store, I'll just stop having a store. I don't pay any item placement fees. I can't think of any ebay fees which have suddenly become more of a burden because of the coranavirus.  Granted I'm only thinking of fees which pertain to my own situation.

In the US Ebay is ggiving 50,000 free listings and allowing deferral of fees for one month. Unsure if this will extend tto other countries.

I'm not in favour of 50,000 free listings - firstly because if everyone has that many listings why do I have to pay for a store?

And free listings only means a lot of garbage.

And I don't see the benefit of deferring your fees for a month - you have to pay them anyway so paying monthly keeps it manageable.

If ebay wanted to help they could step up local advertising - on Tv and papers - "stuck at home?   Buy on ebay!"  sort of thing.   We need more buyers, not more listings.

Tho I reckon if you show no sales for a billing month it might be a nice gesture from eBay to not charge Store fees. Give us some free 'rent' so to speak. We are all being asked to do unprecedented things, how about some unprecedented 'good will' from the huge companies that ultimately have gotten that way because of little us. Just a suggestion. Peace and good health everyone - but don't tell me you have loo paper, then I'll come find you XXXX

I've got nothing more to list so it wouldn't make a lick of difference to me.

The only thing having huge amounts of free listings does, aside from saturating the market, is screw people in the long run when they all auto-relist (assuming GTC/non-free relists) once the freebies have ended. Remember February/March 2019 when millions of people worldwide were charged insertion fees on formerly-BIN items that eBay silently changed to GTC?

in addition to that, sellers who have an eligible store are able to defer the payment of their fees by applying here - https://www.ebay.com.au/sh/sdb
