when listing an item I no longer have the options to change text or add inserts above description box, can anyone help please

Just do a board search, this has been asked and answered many, many times.

Go To Tools on the top of your page on the Pull Down Menu (The Arrow Down) Select Compatibitility Mode and Add  Ebay.com.au and that should help you.

Even better, use Firefox or Chrome. eBay hates IE. Understandably.

I think a thread saying "use Chrome" might be useful 🙂

It really is far, far more eBay friendly...
