Cannot use discount code

I am trying to buy a Medscope Tens Unit and I have a discount code of $5 but it tells me:

"this code can't be applied to some of your items"

What is the point of a discount code when it doesn't work?

And it doesn't tell me why either. Which is also pointless. Anyone have any insight into this please?

It was a pop up when the front page loaded. Telling me if I use the ebay mobile app I get $5 off my purchase. Yet when I copied the code and applied it at checkout it gives me that error message. It's for orders over $30. What I'm ordering is over $50 so it qualifies. Yet the code doesn't work.

No I didn't read the T&C's. I've never had a problem before.

It will only accept it in the app. I tried on my computer but won't let me on there.

I just checked the T&C's and there is nothing in there about the item I'm trying to buy being restricted in any way. So what gives ebay. Why are you being such a pain?

Hard to know without knowing which coupon it is.

What code did it tell you to enter?   It may have been pulled by ebay.

Coupons are at their discretion and you would need to read the T & C's
