Hilux models missing?

What imbecile sets up the list of vehicles and models on eBay?? The Hilux is one of the most popular vehicles in Australia (and the world, if it comes to that - yet I try to find my 2002-2004 2.7L RWD Hilux listed when I'm looking for parts - and according to eBay, no Hiluxes were built between 1999 and 2004! These people who set these lists up are totally incompetent!!

Have you considered that there may not be any listed at the moment?

Must have just been a glitch, I get over 10,000 parts when I search. Did you try 2wd instead of rwd as that is a more common term for what you want and gets different results ?

The list I'm talking about, is the preset, drop-down menu choice, when one is searching for parts for ones particular make and model.
When the drop down menu has no Hilux models listed between 1999 and 2004 - when there were about 20 different models of Hilux produced - then that menu is utterly useless to anyone searching for parts, for any of those models or years!

Thanks. I have tried the 2WD and RWD as you suggest.
It's not a glitch, there's a vast array of models and years missing from the drop-down menu when one is searching for Hilux produced between 1999 and 2004.
It's just simply a very poor piece of work by whoever set up the drop down menu.
All they have to do is go to another site such as carsales.com.au, or Redbook - and every model and year is listed there.
Surely it can't be too hard to double-check their drop-down menu list with another site, such as the two mentioned above.

I am assuming the Hilux listings are the same as the Hiace which I have just been looking for.

Many models use the same parts.....listings will show as the parts are for all models between say 2000 and 2012.  They do not list every year separately.

The part I was looking for was used on all models between 2005 and 2012.

Instead of looking for the exact year, look in the year range for the item you need.
